Travelling across Italy experiencing regional food is a dream for some. Doing so from a boat is far from achievable for many. However, this dream became reality for Lapo Magni who set sail through the Tuscan Archipelago showing us the wonders this beautiful region holds through delicious dishes.

In this episode Chef Lapo Magni and his Captain sail to Elba Island, he will meet with a top Chef from the restaurant Il Chiasso. It is all about the simplicity of Italian Cuisine and combining one or two local ingredients to create a truly unique flavour. Lapo will be up for the ultimate judgement when he opens a temporary kitchen on board and invites guests to critique his island inspired meal.
In this episode Lapo arrives in Capraia, a beautiful island in the Tuscan Archipelago. Rich with volcanic soil Capraia produces some excellent wines, and harvests some unique plants that make rich flavours. Lapo will discover the island with a world champion spier fisherman who uses sustainable fishing methods to serve at his five star restaurant. Will he impress the hardest critiques when they sample his dish or will he fail to impress? As usual he is still trying to win over his Captain.
Lapo and his Captain are sailing to Pianosa, a very remote and exclusive Island. As it is a prison island, boats cannot come within a mile radius. This means Lapo is on a solo mission. Lapo will meet the prisoners who are keeping the island pristine but taking care of it’s natural fauna and flora. He will cook with ingredients from the prison garden and learn a secret dish from one of the wardens. Will this impress the Captain?
Lapo arrives on Giglio Island where he meets a local fisherman who supplies the restaurants with their seafood. On their trip out to sea, Lapo learns about species of the area and how to fish sustainably. He finds his catch when a bunch of girls who come from America come to dine on board. Now, its the right time to remember everything he learnt from the Maestros.
Lapo is back on land for the Surf and Turf Season finale. He will be meeting the Tuscan Cowboys to learn about Tuscany’s beef industry as well as taking to the waters with a local fisherman to fish for sea urchins. On this final episode, Lapo is ready to give his all and prove himself worthy of his captain's approval. Will the Captain finally soften to Lapo?
