The International Boat Show will begin in a couple of hours and being the largest in-water boat show in the world we are expecting breaking news.

More than 1,300 boats and 900 exhibitors will attend the 62nd Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Organisers have said the show will be “bigger and better”, and a record-breaking number of people are expected to attend the event.

From yacht manufacturers and designers to exotic cars and equipment, there is something for everyone. The event lasts five days and it takes place across nearly 90 acres of outdoor exhibition space.

We recommend: watch The Boat Show to step into the best yachts!

The expected yacht debuts

The popular Superyacht Village will return for its third time with debuts expected from Azimut Yachts, Ocean Alexander, Princess Yachts and the Ferretti Group. There will be exciting reveals during the International Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, but on Nautical Channel we would like to highlight the following:

Azimut Grande Trideck

This is the first ever Azimut Grande Trideck of 38m. The vessel has three decks with four terraces, providing the ultimate lifestyle of leisure and luxury. It also includes a sustainable element called ‘Hotel Mode’, allowing guests to enjoy open waters while moving with zero emissions.

Ocean Alexander 35R

This is one of a pair of yachts to debut by Ocean Alexander. Designed by Evan Marshall and Arrabito Naval Architects, the vessel offers luxurious spaces, a beautiful full-width main deck and breathtaking views amongst its 35m.

The popular yachts

As well as debuts, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2021 will display several popular superyachts and motor yachts for sea trials. We would like to highlight:

Benetti 40M Oasis

With 12 units currently building and 3 already out on the water, this model has proven to be popular amongst the nautical community. The exterior was designed by RWD while Benetti was responsible for the naval architecture. The Oasis has a huge beach club area that features a pool, lounge space and fold-out platforms.

Feadship Boardwalk

Launched in 2020, the 76.5-metre-long yacht designed by De Voogt Naval Architects (who also completed her naval architecture) already has an owner. The superyacht has a helideck on the upper deck and a YachtEye infotainment system onboard, allowing guests to explore the itinerary and access the yacht’s safety plan.

Benetti Motopanfilo GRP

Inspired by the classic Benetti yachts from the 60s, this vessel pays tribute with its timeless design. The GRP yacht has three decks and can accommodate as many as 10 guests across five staterooms. It also features an extended swim platform and jacuzzi on the upper deck. The first unit of the Motopanfilo was launched this summer, and already 3 more units are being built.

More entertainment for everyone

Besides the luxury yachts and sailing boats, the Boat Show features plenty of attractions and entertainment. As well as food and drinks, there will be a Fort Lauderdale Concurs for guests to enjoy a rooftop art gallery curated with classic cars.

Also, the AquaZone is the perfect spot for adrenaline seekers. Boat show goers will have a personal experience with many water sports such as the Hobie Mirage Lynx and the HydroFlyer.

The boat show expands from Fort Lauderdale beach and the city’s vast network of waterways presenting products and services for the leisure marine industry. You can visit it from the 27th of October to the 31st.
