In this episode of Wild Surf, we’re going to take a look at Walking the Waves - a short film by italian freesurfer Eugenio Barcelloni exploring the best surfing beaches in Chile, Peru and Tahiti, featuring the best surfers, and focusing on the natural scenery each country has to offer, we’ll be getting acquainted with the culture and the landscapes.

In this episode, we take a look at ‘Cross Culture Surf’, a pioneering cultural exchange between the Basque country and Ireland. Then we’re off to sunny California, where David Barr showcases an amazing new technology, allowing surfers to customize their ride. Then we’re checking out and up and coming contender in the UK surf scene.

In this episode of Wild Surf, we’re in the Mentawai islands in Indonesia for ‘Morning Glory’, a documentary featuring eight French surfers as they head to the islands in search of the perfect surf. Featuring surfers Marc Lacomare, Benjamin Sanchis, Alain Riou, Naum Ildefonse, Romain Cloitre, Jason Aparicio and Charly Martin, Morning Glory takes us on a journey through some of the best waves in the islands. From the infamous Greenbush to the little known Roxy, this is the surfing trip of a lifetime.

A packed episode for you, with footage from the Nixon Surf Challenge, the story of MS surfboards and ‘Away’ - an amazing short documentary about three women who surf in New York City. The Nixon surf challenge has been going on for a decade now. The event has grown from a casual get together of befriended riders, into the annual trip it is today.

Episode 5

Starting the show we take a look at how the charity One Wave uses surfing and the power of the ocean to transform lives. Next, we take in more breath taking scenery from down under and uncover the surfing scene at some of the most notorious beaches in Australia. Lastly, we check out some thrilling stand-up paddle surfing and follow the adventures of two brothers and surfing professionals, on their global search to discover the perfect wave.

This week we’ve got a special episode featuring every surfers most feared predator – the shark. We’re speaking with our friends at the SeaLife London Aquarium, as well as pro surfers, Mick Fanning & Kelly Slater. We’ll be taking a look at the latest shark prevention technology, as well as the rescue teams who are keeping surfers safe from sharks. Plus, we’ve got a profile of Markus, a really talented shaper.

In this episode, we’re in Nias, an idyllic island off the western coast of Sumatra in Indonesia. The island’s Lagundri Bay is world famous for its towering, lengthy barrels. We’re following the exploits of one Luke Dillon, an extremely promising, young, Cornish surfer, who made the trip with fellow Cornishman Jim Bergin, and photographer Paul Terry.

In this episode, we’re starting off in Denmark with one of the hottest places to go surfing in the world right now, Klitmøller, aka Cold Hawaii. We’re keeping it chilly as we head to California for the Coldwater Classic. Then, the Surfing 4 Peace collective are bringing people together through this wonderful sport. Young filmmaker Jesper Jungell is then going to be introducing us to the breaks of California. Finally, we’re reporting on the monster El Niño swell that is currently hurtling towards Southern California.
