Jump On Board

Today we are at the Gran Lasco sailing club, located in the very heart of Rome. Its president, Franco Guerrieri will help us achieve our skipper licence so we can go sail on our ship. Then, we travel to Mykonos to try Greek food and wander its streets. Are you coming with us? 

After spending 2 days in Mykonos, where food was at the centre of our attention, we are finally on board and sailing towards Tinos. However, we encounter some problems and have to head back to Mykonos, and we take the time to meet the Mayor before heading back into the water. 

Kalimera! After a rough trip, we finally got to Tinos. This island is famous in Greece for the Church of Panagia Evangelistria, and both Orthodox and Roman Catholics co-exist on the island. We will explore the island before heading to our next destination. Jump on board with Nautical Channel! 

In this episode of Jump on Board we are in the island of Syros. We arrived on our sailing boat and we are ready to explore the capital of the Cyclades. Despite being small, it has been a very important island even in the Ancient times. Come discover Syros with us!

Hello guys! We start a new adventure with Captain Deanna, Dulce and Maria. After winning Nautical Channel's contest 'Jump on Board', we are now in the gem of the Cyclades, the island of Paros. We will sail amongst the beautiful Cyclades Islands, and our next stop is Ios. 

Captain Deanna has been sailing between Paros and Ios, and we are lulled by the waves and reach the Ios port. We disembark and explore the island before sailing to Ikaria, the capital of the Small Cyclades. Jump on board with us! 

We are sailing through Iraklia, one of the islands that make up the Cyclades in Greece. Our captain Deanna, skipper Giorgio, Dulce and Maria will take a nice swim in the harbour before exploring the island's caves. Are you coming with us? 

Today we say goodbye to our skipper Giorgio, who is leaving us, and welcoming Marcos who will take us to Paros. As we approach the end of our trip, we start getting emotional and recall the best moments of this trip. 

This is the final episode of this first season of Jump on Board. Our two contest winners have jumped on our sailboat and discovered the Cyclades with Nautical Channel. However, we have to say goodbye to our Greek adventure and get back to Athens for the grand finale. 

Welcome to this new season of Jump on Board! Our journey begins in Athens: in the Temple of Poseidon. Ancient travelers used to come here and ask for the favours of the god of the sea before their journey. Let's begin! 

The Aegean Sea is a mythological setting where western culture started from. Along with our two sailors, Zita and Abi, Mia will be mooring in Skyathos, and the girls are already more aware of the journey that lies ahead of them. This will trully be an amazing journey to make them become true sailors. Are you joining us? 

Abi and Zita are slowly growing familiar with the boat, the sea and the wind. Amazing beaches, clear blue waters and a lot of fun is what the girls will come across in this new adventure in Skopelos. They will have to learn the hard way that life at sea requires, but the payoff for the hard part is worth it. 

In this new episode of Jump on Board we set sail to Alonissos: the huge marine park of the Sporades. Nature and beauty will play the leading role here, as the girls experience the wild side of this journey. We'll be testing the typical Mediterranean dishes surrounded by clear waters. May the wind be with us! 

We are approaching our end of our trip and the next stop is Skiros. With the morning breeze we leave past the serene and calm location behind us on route to Skiros. Local dances, fun and life at sea are some of the things Greece has to offer, and in this short time we have seen how great friendships have started. 

Mia has left the girls behind and we are reaching the sad ending of our trip. The crew sail from Skiros to Lavrion before Abi and Zita say their goodbyes to Georgios. Then, we recollect the best moments we have experienced in the Greek Islands with our two winners. 

Today, the Mediterranean will stop to be an unspoiled and unknown place. We will start our trips, knowing where we will stay and when we will be back home but with no planning and respecting the environment. This is why we start with a sailing boat in Greece and move on to a goulet in Turkey, starting off in Kos. Jump on board! 

Day two. We are about to leave the Kos marina on our way to Kardamena, another popular area of the island. The girls will have their first real sailing challenge on the way there, and the strong wind will not help them. After trying out waterskiing and local dishes, we will visit the old port of Limnionas and the girls will have some funny encounters.

In this new episode of Jump on Board we will be working on our sailing basics before sailing to anchent Niros, in the Turkish coast. We will be putting our Turkish flag as we cross the frontier between Greece and Turkey. Have our two young winners understood the basics of sailing and are they getting ready to set sail on their own? 

We embark on a new day at sea for the girls, and we will visit three different spots in a single day. This time, it will be the girls the ones sailing all the time, and they prepare a surprise for Mia. Then, we sail off to Symi, where we will have the opportunity to see an ocean race. Are you excited? 

Welcome to Symi, one of the most popular islands of Greece. The rising dozens of little houses look like temples and are painted with white and yellow colours. Here, the girls will discover the local food, tradition by taking part in a Greek wedding and discover the sea sponges that the island is so famous for before sailing off to Rhodes. 

Ever since the girls got on the boat they have been living a five star lifestyle. It has been very leisurely for them, relaxing on the boat. Today however we will be challenging them on the boat before taking on a canoe competition all the way to the other side of the shore and back. Are you ready?

Abi has joined the girls in the Turkish goulet and we are paying a visit to Georgios before learning a very important lesson in our sailboats: how to rescue someone who has fallen off. We will be spending our last time together before saying our farewells, what has been the girls' impression of this trip?

The girls will discover the islands beauty, unspoiled by the modern world and the place where Penelope had the difficult task of fending off her suitors, alone, without her husband's help. Who will lose the challenge and be the next Penelope between our girls?

In this episode of Jump on Board, Cindy, Caitlin and Linda sail from Ithaca to Cephalonia, the largest of the Ionian Islands in Western Greece and home to our captain, Marcos. The girls get divided like the semi sweet water that runs throughout the island's caves - half sweet, half salt. In the end, it's Marcos who gets the largest dose of sweet from one of the ladies. This time, Caitlin, Cindy and Linda sail from Cephalonia to Zante, called by the Venetians, "The flower of the East." The girls will explore a secluded beach amidst white steep cliffs so surreal that it might as well be on Venus, not Greece. Will the crew begin to get sentimental now that the trip is coming to a close?

In the last episode of Jump on Board, Linda, Caitlin and Cindy make the most out of their final days at sea with no more challenges and no more punishments. Linda shares her Japanese culture with the crew in an unforgettable night of sushi and sailing geishas.
