Up to 200 surfers from 40 nations will battle for a medal in the ISA World Surfing Games 2017. Biarritz La Grande Plage will host the event, thus celebrating the 60th anniversary of surfing’s arrival in France. The athletes will compete for the titles: Men’s Individual, Women’s Individual, National World Champion, and Relay World Champion. This year’s anticipated 2017 ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championship will be held in sunny San Diego in the renown La Jolla neighborhood. The physically challenged surfers participate in teams of up to eight members, and represent their home countries as they race through the waters. With various events and a large following, the Championship is a fun and unique experience; both for the surfers and its spectators.
This year’s 2017 ISA World Junior Surfing Championship will be held in Hyuga, Japan between the months of September and October. The championship will see junior athletes surfing as they compete not only to represent their home countries during the championship, but also as an opportunity to be chosen for the 2020 Olympics!
An acclaimed competition thanks to the singularity of the longboard, this year’s 2018 ISA World Longboard Championship is back in the races. This year the competition will see 71 athletes from 22 nations surfing for the podium. And thanks to this year’s high-end location in Wanning, China, the championship will be even more exciting.
