Hello and welcome to Slovakia! We are on the first event for the World Cup series in the ICF Slalom. 350 athletes competing from over 50 nations have gathered in Liptovsky Mikulas to attempt victory and start the sporting calendar on the right foot. They face strong opponents, so it will not be easy in the C1 Men and K1 Women categories.

On this occasion we are in Krakow, Poland. We celebrate the International Canoe Federation's second Slalom World Cup of the 2018 season. The world's top athletes have gathered for four days of compeetition, and we will be looking back at the best of the action. Welcome to Augsburg in Germany! It's Canoe Slalom World Cup time, and this weekend the athletes were in for a real treat. The top athletes from the top nations have been testing each other limits on the Eiskanal, the same channel where the 1972 Olympic Games were disputed.

Welcome to Bratislava, in Slovakia, for round two of the 2019 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup. Mallory Franklin, Kimberley Woods and Jessica Fox were the top three in Lee Valley last weekend, however Mallory Franklin and Kimberley Woods will not be racing this weekend while Jessica Fox got eliminated in the semi-final. In the C1 men's the medalists from last weekend will also not be racing here, but there are some big names in the lineup. 

Let's dive into the action in Bratislava. 

We are in stage three of the Canoe Slalom World Cup, and this time we will be competing on the water of Ljubljana, in Tacen. The racing conditions are perfect and we are focused on the final: men will be competing in C1 and women in K1. Matej Benus who was leading the standings in the men's category will not be competing in the final, so Benjamin Savsek has a chance to step up in the podium.

Welcome to Prague in the Czech Republic for the final of the 2019 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup. The five-race series culminates over the course of this weekend with double points up for grabs to determine who will be crowned the 2019 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup winner. 244 athletes will be racing this weekend from 36 countries on the course on the Vltava River.

Szeged in Hungary is the third biggest city in the country and the chosen scenery for the Sprints World Cup. Organisers of the ICF canoe sprint moved heaven and earth to prove an international event in the middle of a global pandemic was possible and safe for all participants. Athletes from all over the world are ready to prove their skills over the C2, K1, K2 categories. The event will prove to be hard as most of the athletes have been training for the Olympic Games.

Barnaul, in Russia is a city to the west of the Ob River. This is one of the major rivers in Russia and home to the second stage of the Sprint World Cup. Despite the cold windy morning, more than 3000 people have assisted to watch athletes give their all in this competition.
