Welcome to the Canoe Sprint World Championships 2019 celebrated in Szeged, Hungary! Today there are about 1,200 athletes racing from approximately 98 nations, meaning this is the biggest World Championships canoe sprint racing has ever seen. We're about to witness the fastest paddlers on the planet battle it out for medals, for World Championship glory, and to qualify for their country at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
