Barcolana 50

For all sea and sailing lovers and those who would never miss this one-of-a-kind show, the place is always the same every year: Trieste. Founded in 1969 thanks to the initiative of the yacht club Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano, the Barcolana competition has won its worldwide renown.

This year’s 50th edition will be packed with surprises: more than 400 offshore and onshore activities, the opportunity to admire the vessel Nave Vespucci, the Barcolana 50 special postage stamp, and the Frecce Tricolori airshow just a few minutes before the start of the race. Stunningly huge yachts and sailboats steered by sailing enthusiasts will compete in the Regatta to mark this special edition of Barcolana 50.
