Launched in 2008, the Sailing World Cup series is the annual circuit for the Olympic elite. Over 2000 of the world's leading athletes that represent 75 nations have competed in the Sailing World Cup. It is open to the sailing classes chosen for the 2020 Olympic events in Tokyo 2020, Para World Sailing classes and Kiteboarding when possible.
This top series moves around the world offering spectators with the best in the Olympic sailing world. Competition this year is even tougher as top sailors have been preparing for the Olympics and do not want to start with the wrong foot.

The Hempel Sailing World Cup Series is back. The 2021 season takes place in Medemblik, The Netherlands, during the famous Allianz Regatta. This is the first Hempel Cup Series since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, and sailors are excited.
