Organisers of the racing that takes place from the 23 til the 26th of June have high hopes that the competition will be able to take place later this year, attracting a competitive amount of entries to the Superyacht Cup Palma 2021 event.

To ensure procedures against Covid are up to date, organisation this year with the collaborator Real Club Nautico de Palma (RCNP) has been rigorous and they are keeping focus on meeting all local pandemic restrictions.

“We know there is a yearning for competitive sailing after what has of course been a challenging time for everyone,” said SYC Event Director Kate Branagh.

For this reason, this 2021 edition will debut the Superyacht Cup Performance Class, featuring a competitive fleet start and separate racing course. This new addition joins the original Superyacht Class and the non-spinnaker Corinthian Superyacht Class.

The Superyacht Cup Palma offers an attractive range of racing options that are generating conversation between people worldwide. Amongst interested we find the 46m Dubois designed Ganesha that looks forward for their return in the Superyacht Class and the lightweight 30m WallyCento Magic Carpet3 as a most probable candidate in the Performance Class.
