Welcome to the third edition of Sailing to Tokyo 2020, the TV series that captures the action from the Olympic classes. We follow the athlete’s campaigns as they fight for the ultimate goal, to represent their country at the greatest sporting event of the world, the Olympic Games.
In this episode we are going to focus on another exciting Olympic class, the RS:X. The RS:X was first introduced at the 2008 Olympic Games in China. Being the most affordable yachting class eligible for competition in the Olympics, it has been taken up by a large number of sailors from more than 60 nations over 6 continents competing at numerous regattas worldwide.
With less than a year remaining before the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games begin, the stakes are high, and all athletes are preparing once again. For some, it is their last chance for success and for others it’s a first-time dream, but for all it will be a thoroughly unique experience.
